Looking for even more Michigan zine fun? Check out Mid-Michigan Zine Fair! October 11, in East Lansing, MI. You can register for this year’s fest at http://midmichiganzinefair.tumblr.com/registration
We have just closed registration for this year’s GRZF, but you can fill sign up for the waiting list if you’d still like to table! If someone drops out, or if we are able to fit more tables, then we will notify those on the waiting list that they can exhibit the day of the fest. Everyone who has signed up has until the end of July to pay for their table before they lose their spot.
The link for the waiting list is here.
On June 6th from 4-9pm, Bartertown Diner & CVLT PIZZ∆ will be hosting a Friday night fundraiser for the Grand Rapids Zine Fest. An amazing 20% of their sales will go towards renting the WMCAT for this year’s zine fest!
Their food is already phenomenal, so just imagine how it will taste when you know that it is also supporting your city’s Zine Community!

Two things will be different from last year:
The first annual Grand Rapids Zine Festival celebrating self-publishing with a festival of exhibitors, readings, and workshops. Free and all ages!
-Our Safer Space Policy:
Grand Rapids Zine Fest is organized to create and uphold a space that is not ruled by commercial interests, publishing giants, sexist, racist, ageist, ableist, and/or trans*/homophobic individuals. It is a collectively shared and generative space wherein all peoples involved are respected and cared for. For these, and a number of other reasons, GRZF will not tolerate zinesters, zines, or attendees who promote what we are working against.
